hi Ken from origin lab here in this video weamp;#39;ll be covering how to adjust Legend multi-line formatting and automatically adjusting Legend colors to match their data here we have a legend for a line graph that we want to make the same color as the data Series this can be accomplished by either right clicking on the text box going to the legend submenu and setting the text color to follow the plot or alternatively we can select the legend box and change the text color to automatic in the tool bear now letamp;#39;s say we want to set multi-line spacing for the Legend first letamp;#39;s right click on it and go to properties then go to the line spacing percent drop down box and change that from Auto to 40% in addition to Legend text boxes we can also apply data colors automatically to regular text labels as well in this line graph letamp;#39;s add a text box and enter the words curve of Interest then letamp;#39;s write right click on this box and click on insert info variable f

Change the alignment of the legend. In the Format Legend pane, click Text Symbol. On the General. tab, expand Position. For Horizontal alignment, select one of the options available. In this example, the Center alignment is selected. Click Apply to change the alignment of the legend.
Format a chart legend Right-click the legend, and then click Font. On the Font tab, make the changes that you want to the font or font size.
Select your chart and on the Chart Design tab, choose Select Data. Choose on the legend name you want to change in the Select Data Source dialog box, and select Edit. Note: You can update Legend Entries and Axis Label names from this view, and multiple Edit options might be available.
Right click legend, axis title or text object and choose Properties from context menu. On Frame tab, check Wrap Text, Adjust Height checkbox. Drag the 8 anchors to resize the legend/title/text to a proper width. The text will be wrapped into multiple lines and the frame height is adjusted automatically.
How can I change the legend title? Change the label for the aesthetic the legend is drawn for in labs() . By default your legend label will be the name of the variable that is mapped to the aesthetic the legend is drawn for. You can change the title of your legend using labs() .
Go to Picture Format or Shape Format and select Arrange Wrap Text. If the window is wide enough, Word displays Wrap Text directly on the Picture Format tab. Choose the wrapping options that you want to apply. For example, In Line with Text, Top and Bottom, and Behind Text.
To set word wrapping, complete the following steps: In the Contents pane, right-click the legend and click Properties. In the Element pane, click the Legend Arrangement Options tab . Under the Word wrapping heading, check Labels or Descriptions to wrap the appropriate text item.
