To add symbols to your PowerPoint slide, go to the Insert tab on the Ribbon, then Symbols and then select Symbol. The Symbol popup box will appear.
Insert icons in Microsoft 365 Select Insert Icons. Scroll through the icons or jump to a category by choosing a name in the navigation pane at the left. You can also search by using the box near the top left corner. Choose an icon and then select Insert at the lower right. Rotate, color, and resize your icon.
Insert a linked object Click in the slide where you want to place the object. On the Insert tab, in the Text group, click Object. Click Create from File. In the File box, type the name of the file, or click Browse to select from a list. Select the Link check box. Do one of the following:
Go to Insert Symbol More Symbols. Scroll up or down the list to find the symbol you want; note that you might have to change the font or the subset to locate it.
If an object is hidden behind other objects, select Home Select Selection Pane. In the Selection Pane, reorder the objects how you want. The front object is listed at the top. You can turn objects off/on by selection the open eye icon or lock them.
PowerPoint On the Insert menu, click Symbol. Click the symbol that you want.
In the space under With: insert the symbol using Ctrl+V shortcut. Then, click Add and press OK. The shortcut gets stored in the system.
