I have never claimed to be a woodworker matter of fact until a few years ago I could barely nail two two by fours together but that all changed when I bought my first CNC router I did not know what in the hell I was doing but I knew I wanted to make stuff I didnamp;#39;t know why I just felt it in My DNA I just Iamp;#39;ve always liked working with my hands and I just wanted to make stuff and I started off with the usual making coasters and signs and 3D carvings and whatnot and then I found myself on YouTube trying to find some ideas on what to make and I stumbled across Broan wood and his wonderful inlaid cutting boards and I instantly knew right then thatamp;#39;s what I want to do and so I read up on the vcarve inlay technique started making inlays in and found myself going back and forth to the hardwood store about once a week because I was making lots of mistakes matter of fact Iamp;#39;ve had some pretty expensive bonfires in my backyard from incinerating all those mistakes t

The first edition of Of Mice and Men is a logical place to start. Published in 1937 by Covici Friede publishing house in New York City, the first edition was bound in the publishers beige cloth with a black and terra cotta stamp that includes the title and authors name on the front cover and the spine.
In the world Of Mice and Men describes, Candys dog represents the fate awaiting anyone who has outlived his or her purpose. Once a fine sheepdog, useful on the ranch, Candys mutt is now debilitated by age.
Steinbeck describes George as: small and quick, dark of face, with restless eyes and sharp, strong features (2). In contrast, Lennie is depicted as Georges opposite: a huge man, shapeless of face, with large, pale eyes, [and] wide sloping shoulders (2).
Lennie Small is huge and lumbering and, in many ways, the opposite of George Milton. Where George has sharp features and definite lines, Lennie is shapeless. Often he is described in terms of animals. He lumbers like a bear and has the strength of a bear, but his actions are often described like those of a dog.
In this lesson, we mentioned three symbols from John Steinbecks Of Mice and Men: Candys dog, which represents the fate of those who are weak; mice, which symbolize false hope; and the dream farm, which symbolizes unattainable independence and protection from the world.
The first, George, is small, wiry, and sharp-featured, while his companion, Lennie, is large and awkward. They are both dressed in denim, farmhand attire. As they docHub a clearing, Lennie stops to drink from the river, and George warns him not to drink too much or he will get sick, as he did the night before.
Throughout the novel, George and Lennie have a relationship like an adult and a child. George is responsible for Lennie, making sure he has work, food, and does not get into too much trouble. He gives Lennie commands, which Lennie is supposed to obey, and when Lennie does not, George scolds him.
George is clever but quick to anger. Lennie is not clever and is slow to lose his temper. The way that George is described reminds me of a rat or a mouse. Lennie is described like a big bear gentle most of the time but very dangerous when he is roused.
