Select a specific slide in PowerPoint, then select the Insert tab, and in the Symbols group, click Equation. In the drop-down list, click a specific option for your equation. Once you select an option for your equation, your equation will immediately insert into your PowerPoint slide.
In PowerPoint, you can insert equations using a quick and easy shortcut that many users may not know about. When you press Alt + =, an equation will appear where you can select from various mathematical symbols to use in your presentation.
Click the Insert tab and choose Equation under the Symbol group. In the drop-down menu, click Insert New Equation. Type your math equation using the options above in the Structures and the Symbols groups. After your new equation appears in the text box, press Enter once done.
In PowerPoint, on the Insert tab, click or tap Object. In the Insert Object dialog box, select Create from file. Click or tap Browse, and in the Browse box, find the Excel workbook with the data you want to insert and link to.
Click on the Commands tab if it is not already selected. Select Insert on the left and then Equation Editor on the right. Click and drag the button beside Equation Editor (a square root symbol with an alpha in it) to the toolbar. From now on, clicking on that button will insert an equation.
The quickest way to enter the equation editor is the shortcut key = (hold down the key while you type =). You can also click on Equation under the Insert tab, but this sequence can become cumbersome when you are setting a large number of equations or defining multiple variables within text.
