Now Iamp;#39;ve already gone and hyperlinked so that when I click on my program it goes to the right page. However, once Iamp;#39;m on this page thereamp;#39;s nothing at the moment that I can click on to take me back to my daily program. So what Iamp;#39;m going to do is Iamp;#39;m going to create a footer with a hyperlink back to that main page. so first of all I want to add a footer. Iamp;#39;m going to double click down the bottom of the page and this opens up my footer. You can see at the moment the footer is section 2 and itamp;#39;s the same as previous. Open the Layout menu and choose Breaks Section Breaks Next Page. At the bottom of that page, double-click the footer and it should now read Footer - Section 2. Unselect the Link to Previous option by clicking it to remove the highlighting. Edit the footer as required and hit Escape to exit.
Add a standard or customized header or footer Go to Insert Header or Footer. Choose from a list of standard headers or footers, go to the list of Header or Footer options, and select the header or footer that you want. When youre done, select Close Header and Footer or press Esc.
On the Insert tab, click Header Footer. Excel automatically changes to Page Layout view. On Header Footer tab, click either the Header or Footer, and then select the page number format you want. Header page numbers appear at the top of the printed page, and footer page numbers appear at the bottom.
Click the Effects menu on the Detailed Settings tab. Select the Header/Footer check box. Select the items that you want to print on header and footer, Date and Time, Page Number, and Text. To edit the header and footer items, click Details to open the Edit Header/Footer dialog box.
Go to Insert Header or Footer. Choose from a list of standard headers or footers, go to the list of Header or Footer options, and select the header or footer that you want. Or, create your own header or footer by selecting Edit Header or Edit Footer. When youre done, select Close Header and Footer or press Esc.
To add a footer in the Facet (Even Page) format, open the document in Microsoft Word, go to the Insert tab, and click Footer in the Header Footer section. Select Edit Footer and choose Different Odd Even Pages. Enter the desired content in the footer section and close the header and footer.
The most common cause of this problem is that the bottom margin, footer margin, or page border is outside the printable area of the page. All printers have an irreducible unprintable area necessitated by the mechanical requirements of paper handling.
Add a header, footer, or legend to a view In the File tab, click Print, then click Page Setup. On the Header, Footer, or Legend tab, click the Left, Center, or Right tab. In the text box, type or paste the text, add the document or project information, or insert or paste a graphic.
