hey everybody itamp;#39;s fastscreen from learn it i want to spend some time talking about an excel function known as char char lets you use a number between 1 and 255 to return the corresponding character set so if i choose the char of 65 that actually returns a and if i go forward just one number here to 66 that returns b and of course 67 will return c let me go ahead and set that back to 65. now of course if i start choosing other numbers there like the char of 33 this actually represents special characters like the exclamation point so the char function lets you return a character specified by the code number from the character set from your computer i hope this helps thanks for watching for full course videos please visit our youtube channel learn it training
