all right guys lets dive into the border inlays a little bit no rocket science going on here i just took a set of dividers and um measured out where i wanted them to be but one of the things that i do a little bit different on border inlays is oftentimes youll cut the line as ive done and typically you would go back with a flat graver and cut inside the line right there and that would be where your inlet goes what i like to do instead because its considerably faster is ill cut my line with a regular v graver doesnt really matter what i used a 110 you could use a 90 or 120 whatever suited your fancy but then i go back with a round graver and this is just tapered to a cone and its got a face on it probably around 50 degrees i just pretty much eyeball it and when i turn this engraver down i let it be similar in size to the wire doesnt have to be exact but usually im shooting for around the same diameter at the tip as the wire or maybe just a hair bigger because youre not going
