nelda writes in nelda bell writes in she says is the institution of church membership scriptural i can understand the principle as far as determining the overseers but are we a democracy where people are voted in if someone chooses to attend a fellowship and is there consistently and expresses a desire to participate more in the actual teaching within the body does that then not become a discussion between overseers and that person to determine their belief and whether they are walking in line with the torah thanks okay so i i want to i want to ill take this first because uh i i wrestled with this one for a really long time and lets first say this that we dont see anywhere in the scripture where it talks about a person becoming a member of a congregation in terms of like and then they be and then they signed you know then they stood up and became members or you know then they took the the members class and uh and they were considered members we dont see that obviously so um anythin
