D2740 : is used to report any porcelain or ceramic crown. Used in front teeth as they are more esthetically appealing though cost might be a consideration as they are expensive,. D2750 : Crown porcelain fused to high noble metal.
Dental Code D6253 signifies the need for a provisional pontic, which is a temporary replacement for a missing tooth. A pontic is an artificial tooth used to fill the gap left by a missing tooth. The term provisional indicates that this is a temporary solution until further treatment or diagnosis is completed.
D6245 : Pontic - Porcelain/Ceramic, This is CDT code for ceramic/porcelain prosthetic crown that replace the missing teeth and is constituted in fixed partial denture.
