good morning we are live here at Prince Georgeamp;#39;s Community College in Maryland for the Maryland t-cell conference and I thought Iamp;#39;d step out for a minute and answer some of the questions that Iamp;#39;ve had through email and here in person and online about our new Maryland ESL dual certification program so if youamp;#39;re a Maryland teacher this applies to you hereamp;#39;s the deal if you already have a certificate if your elementary high school English PE whatever your certificate is you have two options to add additional certification areas to your licensure so you can take a practice test you can take the ESL practice and become ESL certified or there is a 30 credit count option where you can take 30 credits in the field and have an ESL certificate added that way so the big question that I get the most so far is why would I take 30 credits if I can just go take the test and be ESL certified so hereamp;#39;s from someone who used to do the hiring for a district
