How to insert picture in Excel In your Excel spreadsheet, click where you want to put a picture. Switch to the Insert tab Illustrations group, and click Pictures. In the Insert Picture dialog that opens, browse to the picture of interest, select it, and click Insert.

Click the WordArt style that you want to use. Type the text that you want to use for the watermark. To change the size of the WordArt, do the following:
Go to Insert Header Footer. Click or tap in a cell in the header or footer area. Select Picture and insert a picture from This device or Bing.
Click inside the cell of the spreadsheet where you want to insert the object. In the Object dialog box, click the Create from File tab. Click Browse, and select the file you want to insert. If you want to insert an icon into the spreadsheet instead of show the contents of the file, select the Display as icon check box.
Select Insert Pictures Place in Cell This Device for inserting picture from your device. Select Insert Pictures Place in Cell Stock Images for inserting picture from stock images. Select Insert Pictures Place in Cell Online Pictures for inserting picture from the web.
Insert Picture from your computer Click the location in your worksheet where you want to insert a picture. On the Insert ribbon, click Pictures. Select This Device Browse to the picture you want to insert, select it, and then click Open.
Note: If you dont have a header or footer, add them by clicking Insert Header Footer. On the status bar, click the Page Layout View button. Select the header or footer text you want to change. On the Home tab in the Font group, set the formatting options that you want to apply to the header / footer.

Excel displays the Page Setup dialog box. On the Header/Footer tab, select Custom Header or Custom Footer. Select in the Left, Center, or Right section box, and then select any of the buttons to add the header or footer information that you want in that section.
