From , Iamp;#39;m Cameron Loewen, a member of the developer content team. In this screencast, Iamp;#39;ll walk through how to generate an access manually using authorization code grant OAuth 2.0 authentication with Postman on Windows. You can also automate this process using SDK methods or by duplicating the implementation from the Quickstart. Any call to the platform APIs requires an access for authentication. You can get an access using one of amp;#39;s supported OAuth 2.0 flows-- Auth Code Grant, JWT Grant, or Implicit grant. This video focuses on Auth Code Grant. Auth Code Grant is the recommended OAuth flow for most apps. Some of the main advantages of this grant are that it is easier to implement than JWT; the access that you receive from Auth Code Grant has a lifetime of eight hours, rather than one from JWT; and you also receive a refreshed that makes it easy to renew your access when it is close to expiration. DocBook files are used to prepare output files in a wide variety of formats. Nearly always, this is accomplished using DocBook XSL stylesheets. These are XSLT stylesheets that transform DocBook documents into a number of formats (HTML, XSL-FO for later conversion into PDF, etc.).
While XML is a flexible markup language that allows you to define custom tags, DITA provides a set of predefined tags for creating structured documentation.
DITA and Markdown are not the same thing Markdown is only a markup language, while DITA is a full authoring standard. Markdown itself only describes a format for converting text into HTML and is not enough to create documentation alone.
Instead, Docbook is used to create the manual and the FAQ, and Doxygen is used to construct the API reference. Although divergent, this conforms to the GNU Project recommendations as long as the output is of sufficient quality, as per GNU Manuals.
The main difference between DITA and DocBook is the way they organize content. DITA is designed to create topic-based documentation, while DocBook is designed to create structured documents. Topic-based documentation means each content can stand alone and be reused in different documents.
