for my momamp;#39;s birthday i thought itamp;#39;d be a good idea to make a picture print for her and since her twin sisteramp;#39;s birthday just so happens to fall on the same day i thought iamp;#39;d make her one as well i really wanted to use purple heart for the picture frame and then do an ash inlay around the edges to hold it all together luckily the purple heart didnamp;#39;t have any warping so i just used my planer to skip plane the top and make it nice and smooth on both the top and bottom surfaces then i could take the purple heart over to my table saw to rip it down to size i did this first with the overall piece and then i ripped the second piece down so that theyamp;#39;re the same size as one another now i can rough cut all the purple heart pieces to size and iamp;#39;m doing this a little bit long so that i can trim off the excess when i start doing the miter cuts the next step is to create a channel on the back side of the picture frame
