Extract the zip file with Linux Locate the file which you want to unzip. Right-click on the file and the context menu will appear with the list of options. Select the Extract Here option to unzip files into the present working directory or choose Extract to for a different directory.
Right-click on the file or folder. Select Compressed (zipped) folder. To place multiple files into a zip folder, select all of the files while hitting the Ctrl button. Then, right-click on one of the files, move your cursor over the Send to option and select Compressed (zipped) folder.
Saving Logs as Zip Files Select a log in the View Logs table. Note that this action is also available when viewing log details. Click Save as Zip. The application displays a standard Windows dialog box. Select Save to Disk and click OK. Specify where to save the log file.
The procedure is as follows for Linux, macOS and Unix users: Open the terminal application. For remote systems use the ssh command for log in purposes. To decompress .gz files, use: gzip -d filename.gz. One can unzip and open gz file using: For .tar.gz/.tgz file try the tar command: Run the ls command to list the files.

Enter the archive name and choose the . zip format from the dropdown menu. Click Create to create the ZIP file.
