Below are the ways by which we can write CSV files in Python: Using csv. DictWriter() : The csv. DictWriter class maps dictionaries onto output rows, allowing you to write data where each row is represented by a dictionary. Syntax: Using csv. writer() The csv. writer class is used to write data directly to a CSV file.
To change your default CSV setting in Windows: Open the Windows Start Menu and click Control Panel. Open the Regional and Language Options dialog box. Click the Regional Options tab. Click Customize/Additional settings (Windows 10) Type a comma into the List separator box (,) Click OK twice to confirm the change.
Indicate separator directly in CSV file For this, open your file in any text editor, say Notepad, and type the below string before any other data: To separate values with comma: sep=, To separate values with semicolon: sep=; To separate values with a pipe: sep=|
The easiest way to add a comma, or text or the symbol at the end of the each line is to select the text you wish to add to, hit control+H a and this Find What add \r, it means to extend and be sure that this is the clicked to extend and the over here in selection, okay? and just add your desired symbol or comma and hit

If youre using a PC (Windows), open the Windows Start Menu and click Control Panel. Click Region. Now, make sure that the Decimal symbol field is set to period (.) and that the List separator field is set to comma (,).
In a spreadsheet program, go to File Save As File Type CSV. In a text editor, go to File Save As File Type All Files and name the file with . csv at the end.
