hey guys so Iamp;#39;m going to show you the occasional function keys on your MacBook Pro 16 and also you can add them permanently to your touch bar now just so you guys know borders touch bar up here yeah both are the same functions here so just for example the volume control but if you want the F keys to be WestEd then what you do is you hold down on FN right here in the bottom left and you guys are here we have all 12 of the F keys on touch bar so does press whichever you want okay so now if you want the FTC remain up here without having to hold down on that Bend so for that all you do is in the top left corner just press on yep all go and then System Preferences so from here youamp;#39;re gonna click on keyboard which is towards the bottom right right here and then youamp;#39;re going to click at the top here on shortcuts okay so on this left column for function keys press on that and whichever program that you want to add you want the function keys to be added here youamp;#39;

To insert the Section symbol on a Mac keyboard, the faster way is to just press the Option+6 buttons.
Use ⇧ Shift + number keys for @, #, and other common symbols. Youve probably noticed that the number keys at the top of your Macs keyboard have extra symbols on them, including !, @, #, $, and %. To type any of those symbols, hold down Shift while pressing the number key with the symbol you want on it.
You can use the Character Viewer to add special characters and symbols to text, such as math symbols, Latin characters, and pictographs. Click in the text where you want to place the character, then choose Edit Emoji Symbols (or press Control-Command-Space bar). The Character Viewer appears where you clicked.
While holding down the Alt key, type in the numbers 0167. When you release the Alt key, the section symbol will appear.
Enter special characters and symbols You can use the Character Viewer to add special characters and symbols to text, such as math symbols, Latin characters, and pictographs. Click in the text where you want to place the character, then choose Edit Emoji Symbols (or press Control-Command-Space bar).
Go to the Emoji Symbols library to insert the plus or minus symbol on your Mac. First, press Control, Command, and Spacebar to open the Character Viewer. Go to the section heading Math Symbols. Then Double-click the plus or minus symbol or highlight and drag the symbol into your document.
