Injects are specific scenario events or messages within the scenario that prompt players to implement the plans, policies, and/or procedures that require testing during the exercise. Each inject should be considered its own event within the timeline of the scenario.
In React, sharing state is accomplished by moving it up to the closest common ancestor of the components that need it. This is called lifting state up.
To pass a state variable from a child component to a parent component in React, you can define a callback function in the parent component and pass it down to the child as a prop. The child component can then call this callback function and pass the updated state as an argument.
After services are added to the service collection, inject one or more services into components with the @inject Razor directive, which has two parameters: Type: The type of the service to inject. Property: The name of the property receiving the injected app service. The property doesnt require manual creation.
Downsides: Youre gonna have to keep passing them down into inner level components. To update state from the inner level components youre gonna have to pass the function that updates the state.
We can create a state handler function in the parent component and pass it as a prop of the child component. After that, we can use the child component function to set the parent components state. In such a way, we can manage the state of the parent component from the child component.
Sometimes, you want the state of two components to always change together. To do it, remove state from both of them, move it to their closest common parent, and then pass it down to them via props. This is known as lifting state up, and its one of the most common things you will do writing React code.
A service can be injected into a view using the @inject directive. You can think of @inject as adding a property to the view, and populating the property using DI.
