letamp;#39;s go over angle insertion for injections first up is intramuscular we want to go in that muscle and you want to go in at a 90 degree angle next is subcutaneous we want to go in that fatty tissue so you want to go in anywhere between a 90 to 45 degree angle it really depends on how much fat is under that skin on the patient then we have intravenous so weamp;#39;re targeting the vein and you want to go in anywhere between a 15 to 30 degree angle depending on how deep that vein is and then lastly we have intradermal and you want to go in anywhere between a 10 to 15 degree angle and with this weamp;#39;re targeting the dermis so just below the epidermis and how you know you got a really good intradermal injection is that youamp;#39;re going to see a wheel or a bleb on the skin which looks like a small bubble

Zepbound is injected under the skin (subcutaneously) of your stomach (abdomen), thigh, or upper arm. Use Zepbound 1 time each week, at any time of the day. Change (rotate) your injection site with each weekly injection. Do not use the same site for each injection.
Similar exposure to tirzepatide was achieved after subcutaneous injection in the abdomen, thigh, or upper arm. There is no data from studies comparing these injection sites to assess efficacy and safety differences. See important safety information, including boxed warning, in the attached prescribing information.
You or another person can inject the medicine in your stomach (abdomen) or thigh. Another person should give you the injection in the back of your upper arm. Change (rotate) your injection site each week. You may use the same area of your body but be sure to choose a different injection site in that area.
Lipohypertrophy occurs when a person injects insulin or another medication into the same patch of skin too many times. This includes infusion through insulin pumps. The repeat injections can cause a buildup of fat, protein and scar tissue.
For a well-developed adult, no more than 3 ml of medication should be administered in a single IM injection because the muscle tissue does not absorb it well in larger volumes. For smaller adults or those with less muscle mass, the volume injected may need to be adjusted.
Specifically, the front and middle sections of the thighs several inches above the knees are ideal spots. When using the abdomen, aim for areas 2-3 inches around the belly button on all sides. Make sure to rotate back and forth between the thigh and abdomen each week to give injection sites time to recover.
You can do it in your stomach or thighs by yourself, or in the back of your upper arms with someones help. You can use the same area every week, just dont inject into the same exact spot. Your doctor can help you with these choices.
No, injecting Tirzepatide into the upper arm, thigh, or stomach will all provide equally effective results. However, it is recommended that patients rotate the area they inject during each weekly injection. This has nothing to do with the efficacy of the medication.
