Insert directly in the XML for a blank you would like to preserve. Android doesnt support keeping the spaces at the end of the string in String. xml file so if you want space after string you need to use this unicode in between the words. It is a unicode space character.
XML considers four characters to be whitespace: the carriage return (\r or ch(13)), the linefeed (\n or ch(10)), the tab(\t), and the spacebar ( ). In XML documents, there are two types of whitespace: docHub whitespace is part of the document content and should be preserved.
When xml:space is used on an element with a value of preserve , the whitespace in that elements content must be preserved as is by the application that processes it.
Best Practice: Use the node:setText() function, from from XML Techniques in the Protocols Repo, to add a TEXT element containing a space. Recommended: Use the node:append() function to add a TEXT element containing a space. Recommended: Create a new node function node:setInnerSpace() that sets the node to a space.
To preserve white space within object element content, specify xml:space=preserve on that object element. Under most interpretations, the xml:space attribute effects and the value of the attribute are scoped to child elements.
XML Namespaces - The xmlns Attribute When using prefixes in XML, a namespace for the prefix must be defined. The namespace can be defined by an xmlns attribute in the start tag of an element. The namespace declaration has the following syntax. xmlns:prefix=URI.
As per the XML guidelines, the attribute xsl:space=preserve must be added to the tag. The queries below demonstrate XML data that has been loaded into Snowflake. With the added attribute, the parsed version now preserves the leading and trailing spaces in the tag value.
