For general text you can use \raggedright and \raggedleft to align the material to the left and right, respectively.
The short answer: use the float package and then the [H] option for your figure. The longer answer: The default behaviour of figures is to float, so that LaTeX can find the best way to arrange them in your document and make it look better.
you could use \parbox (or a minipage environment) for both the text and the picture. \parbox (minipage too) understands options for vertical alignment. Between the text box and the picture use \hfill to achieve right alignment.
LaTeX does have built-in commands for changing the typeset alignment of text: ragged-right ( \raggedright ) ragged-left ( \raggedleft ) centred ( \centering )
Use commands like \centering or \raggedright inside figure. Also dont use figure at all if you want the image to stay. figure is a float and should always be the outer most environment. And dont use \centering if you dont want to center.
\@ before punctuation says that the period does fall at the end of a sentence. to quote from the latex manual (p. 170): \@ Causes an end-of-sentence space after punctuation when typed before the punctuation character.
You can try this piece of code: \begin{figure}[!h] \centering. \begin{minipage}[t]{4cm} \centering. \includegraphics[scale=0.5]{fonte.png} \caption{Pice (1) - Fonte} \end{minipage} \hspace{3cm}
For general text you can use \raggedright and \raggedleft to align the material to the left and right, respectively. To align images inside a figure easily you can use the adjustbox package which allows you to add alignment keys to \includegraphics .
