In this video Ill show you how to publish a simple e-pub file directly from pages. So lets get started. The first thing I want to do is select a blank template in pages. You must start with a blank template to publish to epub since youll need to control all the formatting and styles yourself. Ive already removed all the formatting from my text and im going to paste it into my blank pages document. Im going to access the style drawer by clicking the blue icon in the upper left corner of the screen. And that will show me all the styles that I can apply back to my unformatted text. The first thing I am going to do is apply the body paragraph style to all of my text, and im doing that because most of my text will have that style so ill just go ahead and apply it to everything and go back and make changes where I need to. And for this text ive decided that each part of the book will be a chapter and each section thats already identified in the text will also be a section in my e-pub. I

ePub 2 is the older format and was adopted by most organizations as their standard eBook format. However, ePub 2 offers minimal controls for formatting text and images to its users. On the other hand, ePub 3 does a much better job when it comes to formatting text and images.
