Your secrets are stored in a JSON file under your user profile. In a Windows machine, they are stored in the %APPDATA%\Microsoft\UserSecrets\\secrets. json file. In a Linux/macOS machine, they are stored in the ~/.
JetBrains Rider Right-click on a project in the Solution Explorer and select Tools Manage User Secrets . A secrets. json file will open where you can insert your secrets.
To generate your user secrets file, right-click on the common/config project (whichever utilizes connection strings) and select Manage User Secrets. A file named secrets. json should be opened. Any configuration values you want to store for local use should be stored here.
