Using Acrobat DC Pro, you can automatically apply Bates numbering as a header or footer to any document or to documents in a PDF Portfolio (If the PDF Portfolio contains non-PDF files, Acrobat converts the files to PDF and add Bates numbering). You can add custom prefixes and suffixes, as well as a date stamp.
Open the document in docHub. From the toolbar select: Tools Comments Stamp Tool Dynamic. Select Your stamp. Locate your stamp and click on it. Place your stamp on the document. Resize your stamp as needed. Save the file for future use.
Open a document, and then from the All tools menu, select View more Add a stamp. From the left panel, select Stamp and then select a desired stamp from a required category. Note that the recently used stamp is displayed at the top. At a desired position on the document, select to place the selected stamp.
Then follow these steps to automatically add Bates Numbers to each page in the document set: Open the file. Click Tools. Select Edit PDF. Choose More. Click Bates Numbering and Add. Select Output Options to customize the serial numbers. Click OK.
Click the Edit PDF button on the right. Click Watermark and select Add. If you want to apply the watermark selectively, click on Page Range Options in the upper right corner. Select the pages you want to watermark.
