Hello, I would like to give you a sneak peek at one of the latest dSPACE labs innovations. To test and validate lidar sensors efficiently, it is useful to directly inject simulated raw data. By injecting this data you can test all processing stages behind the front of a sensor, including all the applications that use the sensor data. In this demo, I would like to show you how we can use simulation data from this system to inject raw data into the lidar sensor, over here. The resulting output is displayed on the sensors own visualization tool. The field of view is divided into eight segments. Each segment displays the distance to the detected target. Letamp;#39;s start with this driving scenario. As you can see, a simulated lidar sensor detects its environment by measuring distances to certain points in three dimensional space, just like a real sensor. Now letamp;#39;s switch to the sensor perspective. For the sake of simplicity, we will reduce the scenario to a moving checkerboard. B
