Dithering is used in computer graphics to create the illusion of color depth in images on systems with a limited color palette. In a dithered image, colors that are not available in the palette are approximated by a diffusion of colored pixels from within the available palette.
Select the area where you want to record a GIF (computer window, tab, full screen, etc). Start recording and trim your screen recording down to the section you want to turn into a GIF. Click Export Project and select GIF as the output format. Download your new GIF file, and youre all set!
Source video resolution should be 720p max, but we recommend you keep it at 480p. Keep in mind media will appear mostly on small screens or smaller messaging windows.
FlexClip helps you insert any text as watermark to GIF. Or you can create a new watermark with DesignEvo for free. What about more customization? You can edit the watermark by tweaking the font, size, color, opacity, position, etc.
Open the Snipping Tool by searching for it in the Start Menu. Choose a rectangular snip from the drop-down menu. Capture the area you would like to record as a GIF. Go to the File menu and choose Save As.
Dithering may make some images look better, but it increases the file size. If your software allows it, use a lower level of dithering to save extra bytes. Some software has a lossy option for saving GIFs. This option can docHubly reduce the file size, but it also reduces image quality.
Dithering is the most common means of reducing the color range of images down to the 256 (or fewer) colors seen in 8-bit GIF images. Dithering is the process of juxtaposing pixels of two colors to create the illusion that a third color is present.
A higher dithering percentage creates the appearance of more colors and more detail in an image, but can also increase the file size. For optimal compression, use the lowest percentage of dither that provides the color detail you require. Images with primarily solid colors may work well with no dither.
