To insert recipient data: Place the insertion point in the document where you want the information to appear. Choose one of the placeholder options. Depending on your selection, a dialog box may appear with various customization options. A placeholder will appear in your document (for example, AddressBlock).
Go to Mailings Select Recipients. Select Use an existing list, choose the list you previously created and select Open. Add or edit records in the Edit List Entries dialog box.
On the File tab, select New and choose Blank Document. On the Mailings tab, choose Select Recipients and select Type a New List. In the New Address List dialog box type recipient information in each column as appropriate. For more info on using the dialog box, see Edit Data Source.
Add individual merge fields Click or tap where you want the merge field. Choose the down-arrow under Insert Merge Field, and select a field. If you dont see your field name in the list, choose Insert Merge Field. Choose Database Fields to see the list of fields that are in your data source. Choose Insert.
Add Multiple Recipients​ There are two ways to send an email to more than one person in mail merge. Use the dynamic CC and BCC option and include the other recipients in the same message but in the CC/BCC fields. Add multiple email addresses in the Email Address column, separated with commas.
Add recipients directly to your message On your computer, open Gmail. At the top left, click Compose. In the To: line, add recipients. On the right of the To: line, click Use mail merge . Turn on Mail Merge. In your message, enter @. Select a merge tag: To insert the merge tag, press Enter.

Type the criteria in Find what, click on the drop arrow for In field and select the field to search in. Click on [OK]. You can select recipients to include by applying a filter.
To edit an existing mail merge document: Select Letters Mail Merge Document Maintenance. The Mail Merge Document Search window is displayed. Type search criteria in the search fields and click Find. Select the document you want to edit. Click Edit. Click Edit. Select File Exit. Click Ok.
