To add radio buttons in a form, use the element within tags, each with a unique name attribute.
The user may select one option at a time, and it then remains selected. So main difference is that in radio button we can select and disselect different options throughout the process, but im case of Combo boxes we can select one options throughout entire process.
Note: Checkboxes are similar to radio buttons, but with an important distinction: radio buttons are designed for selecting one value out of a set, whereas checkboxes let you turn individual values on and off.
Use checkboxes to select multiple parallel items. Use checkbox for single selections to confirm on/off selection. Use radio buttons to select mutually exclusive options. Use toggle for selections affecting system settings or changing status.
Checkboxes allow the user to choose items from a fixed number of alternatives, while radio buttons allow the user to choose exactly one item from a list of several predefined alternatives.
Use Radio buttons when you want the user to make a single, exclusive choice from a list of options. Use checkboxes when users can select multiple items from the list.
One way to achieve this is to use JavaScript to insert the HTML for images into the label for each radio button option. In the below code, the radio button is identified as q18 on the form, and has 3 options (options 0, 1, and 2 in order). Each radio button option has a label, to which an image is being appended.
RadioButton Control Step 1: Drag the RadioButton control from the toolbox and drop it to the Windows form, as shown below. Step 2: Once the RadioButton is added to the form, we can set various properties of the RadioButton by clicking on the Radio control. RadioBtn.vb. Output:
