On a worksheet, click the cell where you want to create a link. You can also select an object, such as a picture or an element in a chart, that you want to use to represent the link. You can also right-click the cell or graphic and then select Link on the shortcut menu, or you can press Ctrl+K.
Insert Pictures into an Excel Cell To insert an image into a cell, select the target cell, then click Insert (tab) Illustrations (group) Pictures Place in Cell and select the source of the picture.
Lock the image to the cell. Right-click your picture and click Format Picture. Then click the Size Properties tab (a symbol with a green square with arrows around it) and select Move and size with cells. Press F5 to run the code and repeat this process until all the images in your sheet fit into cells.
To directly paste a picture from the clipboard into a cell, select Paste Paste Picture in Cell on the Home tab or in the right-click context menu. NOTE: When you use the default Paste command on the Home tab or the context menu, or press Ctrl+V to paste a picture, it will pasted over cells for now not in a cell.
If you are inserting a picture into an existing comment, click Show All Comments on the Review tab, and then right-click the border of the comment of interest. In the Fill Effect dialog box, go to the Picture tab, click the Select Picture button, locate the desired image, select it and click Open.
Select Insert Pictures Place in Cell This Device for inserting picture from your device. Select Insert Pictures Place in Cell Stock Images for inserting picture from stock images.
Select Insert Pictures Picture from File. Navigate to the folder where the image is stored, select it, then select Insert.
