hi welcome back to my channel weamp;#39;ll be trying something new in this video Iamp;#39;ve been learning blender for the last few months and I was able to get to a point where I donamp;#39;t have to use Maya at all I can do all of my modeling shading and rendering in blender but I still use zbrush for my sculpting work as you have seen in my previous videos so I wanted to sculpt a portrait exclusively in blender and see how I like it there are a few things that I immediately like better in blender in comparison with zbrush I like that I can set up multiple viewports the camera feels much more traditional compared with zbrush I also have much more control over the lighting so I started with a cube and subdivided it once and made some changes see now I can set up a separate camera with a specific focal length and angle to match the reference photo I decided to do a bit of poly modeling and build the base mesh instead of doing my usual dynamesh thing dang topple in blender so
