Re: Inserting dynamic image in crystal report Add an Image to the report (crystalreport) , on Section 1 report header (for now, so we can simulate a working image), name it Picture1 Create a new parameter field.Just give it a name (I named it 0 as you will see on the code) Go to your image.
Re: Loading picture dynamically to the crystal report Click on X2 next to Graphic Location and here select the field that holds the details of the photo you need to load. Refresh your report. You should find that will work.
First add a picture to your details section where your item code is using the insert picture icon: This open a browse box, just choose any image, as it will be replaced in the next step. From the Editor, choose the Picture tab, then select the formula button beside Graphic Location .
In Crystal Reports: Go to Insert OLE Object. Select Create New and select Bitmap image or Paintbrush Picture. Click OK. Place the object in the report. Right-click on the image object and select Format Graphic. On the Picture tab, click X+2 next to Graphic Location. Insert the Media Description field. Click Save and Close.
Right-click on the image field and select Format Field. In the Format Editor dialog box, select the Picture tab. Under Graphic, click on the Import button and browse to the location of the image you want to add. Select the image and click Open to add it to the report.
CRYSTAL 8.5 or XI Open the report in the Crystal Reports application. Go to Insert Picture. Browse for the image file. Select the image file and click OK. Move the cursor to the desired section in the report for the image and left click once. Use the highlighted border to adjust the image size as needed.
Use the PNG file format. Give your images a white background. (Crystal Reports does not support transparency in PNG files.) For best results, capture images with a resolution of 300 dpi.
In the Format Editor dialog box, select the Picture tab. Under Graphic, click on the Import button and browse to the location of the image you want to add. Select the image and click Open to add it to the report. Adjust the size and position of the image as needed.
