To target an HTML link to a specific page in a PDF file, add #page=[page number] to the end of the link URL.
Insert page numbers On the Insert tab, select. If you dont want a page number to appear on the first page, select Different First Page. If you want numbering to start with 1 on the second page, go to Page Number Format Page Numbers, and set Start at to 0. When youre done, select Close Header and Footer or press Esc.
You can find these options by going to LayoutNumbering Section Options. Select if you want automatic page numbering, or if you want to start with a certain number. If the document you are creating contains sections, you may want each section to be numbered differently. Maybe section one is numbered pages 1-25.

In the dialog box that appears, select your desired settings for the position, style, and appearance of the page numbers. Click OK.
Using a PDF viewer: Many PDF viewers, such as docHub Reader, have a built-in feature that allows you to view the number of pages in a PDF file. To view the page count using docHub Reader, open the PDF file and look for the Page field in the bottom left corner of the window.
