the beginning of your chapter or section and you can easily do that with drop cases so I have a document here and I want to create a drop case for this paragraph I can select the letter and then you want to make sure you click on format at the very top of your ribbon and then you will have more menu so now you have a formatting menu you want to make sure you have a style selected and then you scroll down to the very bottom if I click on drop cap I will automatically have the default style applied to my letter so you have a lot of options actually with this drop case Iamp;#39;m going to actually do the guides because I want to show you that you have a lot of options how you align new cases and so on so now you can see how everything looks so Iamp;#39;m going to still select my drop case my letter now the options here are you can click on that a by that kind of text and you have some six different ways of formatting your drop case and I can click on each of

Press Command-C on your keyboard to copy the selected item. Or choose Copy from the Edit menu in the menu bar. Or Control-click (or right-click) the item you selected, then choose Copy from the shortcut menu.
Select the characters you want to raise or lower. In the Format sidebar, click the Style button near the top. If the text is in a text box, table, or shape, first click the Text tab at the top of the sidebar, then click the Style button. , click the Baseline pop-up menu, then choose Superscript or Subscript.

Press Ctrl + A on your keyboard to highlight all text in your document. Tip: You can also highlight your entire document by placing your mouse cursor in the left margin and then quickly clicking the left mouse button three times in a row. Press Ctrl + C to copy the entire highlighted selection.
Open Pages and click the New Document button in the dialog, or choose File New from the Pages menu at the top of the screen. In the template chooser, scroll to find a template for the type of document (or envelope) you want to create, then double-click the template to open it.
Add text in a text box in the toolbar. A text box appears on the page (you can change how the text looks later). Drag the text box to where you want it. If you cant move the box, click outside the box to deselect the text, then click the text once to select its text box.
If a document is open, click the More button in the toolbar, then choose Go to My Documents to return to the document manager to select the document. Click the More button that appears, then choose Duplicate. A number is appended to the duplicated documents name.
