To place the legend, use legend() method with location of the legend and store the returned value to set the color of the text. To set the color of the text, use setcolor() method with green color. To display the figure, use show() method.
To create a legend in Matplotlib, you can use the legend() function after plotting your data. This function adds a legend to your plot, which helps to identify different data series.
A color bar is a common way to add a legend to a contour plot, as it shows the mapping between colors and data values. The plt. contourf function is used to create filled contours, and plt. colorbar adds the color bar to the plot.

Location and legend drawn flags can help to find a location and make the flag True for the border. Set the legend with blue and orange elements. To show the figure use plt.
To move the legend outside the plot, well use the bboxtoanchor and loc parameters of the legend function. The bboxtoanchor parameter specifies the legends position. We do this by creating a patch using the mpatches. Then, we create a colorbox patch with a red color and a label of Example Legend.
