Hi everyone. My name is Kevin. Today I want to show you how you can use mail merge to create address labels. So, what do I mean by that? Well, imagine that you have a list of addresses. So maybe in Excel or in Outlook, you have a list of maybe 30, 50, 60, maybe even hundreds of addresses and you want to print each one of those addresses onto an address label. Well, one way to do that is you could create a new address label sheet in Microsoft Word, and you could go through, and you could copy and paste each address into one of the labels and then you could print it out. But that sounds really painful and thatamp;#39;s also going to take a long time. Today Iamp;#39;m going to show you how you can use mail merge in Word to greatly simplify that task. And as full disclosure before we jump into this, I work at Microsoft as a full-time employee. All right, well what are we waiting for, Letamp;#39;s jump on the PC. So here I am on my desktop and what weamp;#39;re going to do is weamp;#39

How to Print Labels Choose the right label paper. While many kinds of paper can be used in a printer, picking a paper specifically for the labels you want to print works best. Inspect the label paper. Design the label. Test the label. Load the label paper. Set print settings. Print.
Create and print a page of different labels Go to Mailings Labels. Select Options. Select the type of printer youre using. Select your label brand in Label products. Select the label type in Product number. Select OK. Select OK in the Labels dialog box. Type the information you want in each label.
Load sticker paper onto your printer. Check with your printer manual if it has any special instructions for loading sticker paper. Make sure the paper width lever doesnt touch the edges of the paper so it doesnt buckle. Print your finalized templates.
Add graphics to labels Start by creating a New Document of labels. For more info, see Create a sheet of nametags or address labels. Insert a graphic and then select it. Go to Picture Format Text Wrapping, and select Square. Select X to close. Drag the image into position within the label. Save or print your label.
On the Settings page, under Permissions and Management, select Apply label to items in this list or library. On the Apply Label page, select the drop-down box, then select the label that you want to apply.
You absolutely can! Simply treat Avery label sheets like you would blank sheets of paper. Insert them into your printers paper tray or feed the sheets through the manual feed tray. All printers are different, so make sure you check which way up to place the labels into your printer so they are printed correctly.
