hi everyone we just wanted to release this brief video tutorial on how to perform an ultrasound guard injection from a posterior to anterior approach weamp;#39;ve been using this in our practice when itamp;#39;s been difficult to access the AC joint from a more lateral approach which is the more traditional uh injection technique that is utilized in clinical practice you can find the joint resar of the AC joint in a short AIS view easily by scanning down the length of the clavicle into the joint recess if you come across the acromium that youamp;#39;ve gone too far come back to the Joint recess and then enter your needle from a posterior to anterior approach uh as an inplane technique keeping the needle tip bright before depositing your steroid in the joint recess hopefully you found this video helpful and as always we look forward to hearing your thoughts comments and feedback on our educational videos
