so okay the first thing i recommend doing is to make sure that you have the latest version flash floppy installed on the gotek i have another video about how to update the firmware itamp;#39;s really easy you just need a thumb drive and you know the developer of flash floppy is always adding new things and he may in the future add some some optimizations or settings which would make some of the um suggestions that i have later in this video moot or obsolete because he you know basically made flash floppy more compatible the second thing i recommend is just checking the jumpers um 90 from what iamp;#39;ve read and researched in my personal experience uh 90 of applications where youamp;#39;re going to use a gotek externally the jumper needs to be on s0 now that is the same position you have it on when you use it as an internal drive and thereamp;#39;s a lot of talk about always needing to set it to s1 when youamp;#39;re using it as a second drive df1 however
