To bring an element to front of another element, you can use the CSS z-index property. The z-index property specifies the stack order of an element. An element with greater z-index value will be displayed in front of an element with a lower z-index value.
You would do this by putting both images in a container element that is relatively positioned. Then you can add the position absolute rule to both pictures and position image 2 as you need, using the top, bottom, left, right syntax as needed.
You can use the CSS tag to create a container that holds your images and then use the position: absolute; property to place the images relative to each other. You can also use the z-index property to specify which image should appear on top of the other.
Overlay photos Right-click on a photo and use the Layer option to bring it forward or backward, or select Position and rearrange the blocks to layer your photos ingly. Then, select Transparency in the toolbar above the editor and use the slider to adjust the transparency of each photo.
In CSS, relative positioning can be used to move elements on top of each other. To do this, use the position: relative and z-index rules to specify the relative positions.
For images loaded using the tag, the browser uses the src attribute of the tag to trigger the image load. Irrespective of whether it is the 1st or the 1000th image in your HTML and well off-screen, if the browser gets the src attribute, it would trigger the image load.
With the background-blend-mode CSS property, we can apply an overlay on the background image with a small line of code. This property will blend the background image with the elements background color. The overlay effect, as seen above, is due to blending the background image with the elements background color.
