Keyboard shortcut: You can also press Ctrl+D to fill the formula down in a column, or Ctrl+R to fill the formula to the right in a row.
How to Insert Formula in Excel for an Entire Column: By Dragging the Fill Handle Step 1: Select the cell with the formula. Step 2: Hover the cursor over the bottom right corner of the cell. Step 3: Drag the Fill Handle down the entire column.
Here are the steps to follow: Select the first cell in the column. Enter your formula in the function box at the top of the sheet. Move your cursor to the handle at the bottom of the cell. Click and drag the handle across the entire column.
Use the keyboard shortcut to apply the formula to the entire column, including any new rows you insert: Ctrl + d (Windows) or Cmd + d (Mac). The formula will be copied to the entire column and applied to new rows as soon as they are added.
Click the Insert tab. Then click the drop-down button of Equation. Finally, click Equation Editor to open it. In the pop-up Equation Editor edit box, enter the formula and click Close, The formula will be inserted into the slide as a picture.
