PowerPoint On the Insert menu, click Symbol. Click the symbol that you want.
For Windows: Open the Computer, click on My PC from the left pane and right-click the disk that is creating issues. Select Properties, Tools tab, and click on Check Now button available under Error Checking section. Make sure to check both the options and then click on Start to repair PowerPoint file.
Go to Insert Symbol More Symbols. Scroll up or down the list to find the symbol you want; note that you might have to change the font or the subset to locate it.
It is the icon for files with macros-enabled. If you Save As and select Excel Workbook as the file type, it will go away along with any macros within.
