when we think about the healthcare industry itamp;#39;s constantly changing for us as an academic Medical Center we have to look to the science we have to look to the research and say Whatamp;#39;s the best way that we do things in the Department of Nursing we have an evidence-based practice program we offer internships for our Frontline nurses who can ask those questions and challenge the status quo evidence-based practice implementation requires that research is available we are constantly asking questions and saying if thereamp;#39;s no answers out there letamp;#39;s find the answers

Using evidence in writing shows the audience why the claim/thesis statement is important and how it is relevant. Evidence backs up certain statements to prove or support what is being said.
Make sure you have a clear set of research questions for the study (see 2 next); have a coherent sampling design (see 3 below). Have a research design (for example the use of an experiment, survey, interviews etc.) and be clear about how data gathering methods complement each other.
Citing your sources is important for a variety of reasons, including: It gives credit to the authors of the sources you used. It provides your reader with more information about your sources. It shows your credibility.
Evidence appears in essays in the form of quotations and paraphrasing. Both forms of evidence must be cited in your text. Citing evidence means distinguishing other writers information from your own ideas and giving credit to your sources. There are plenty of general ways to do citations.
Evidence can support a claim by providing specific, relevant, and credible information that helps demonstrate the claims truth or validity and advance an argument. To support a claim, evidence should be directly related to the claim. It should establish a causal relationship between the claim and the evidence.
Academic writing uses evidence and information from sources to support your points and build a critical argument. When you use source information, you must cite and reference it to show where it came from. Advice and examples to help you use your departments referencing style correctly.
There are many ways to present your evidence. Often, your evidence will be included as text in the body of your paper, as a quotation, paraphrase, or summary. Sometimes you might include graphs, charts, or tables; excerpts from an interview; or photographs or illustrations with accompanying captions.
Evidence doesnt speak for itself, but often needs to be explained, analysed and interpreted so that the reader understands how it supports your point. You might feel that the reader can work it out for themselves, but its your job as the writer to do that work, not the reader.
