in this video iamp;#39;m going to try and explain to you the core concepts of dependency injection i think you know the core concept is not that complex but itamp;#39;s kind of hard to explain it this way so iamp;#39;m going to try my best iamp;#39;m going to show you what it is how to set it up what interfaces have to do with it and what the heck is a container so at the very core dependency injection is instead of newing up all kinds of classes in in other classes youamp;#39;re going to inject those classes that provide the functionality that is needed into that other class so that sounds a bit abstract hopefully that will all become clear in a minute but just think of this example so instead of we we have a person class right always the person class and we have a logger class so whenever a person is created we want to write a little log message to the console output right so what weamp;#39;re going to do in our person class we have a constructor and inside that constru

It can be used during: Construction (via the constructor ) of a class being instantiated by the DI system, such as an @Injectable or @Component . In the initializer for fields of such classes. In the factory function specified for useFactory of a Provider or an @Injectable .
While constructor parameter injection is the preferred method of passing values to a component being constructed, you can also use property or method injection to provide values. Property injection uses writeable properties rather than constructor parameters to perform injection.
How to use the @Inject attribute The first step is to add the dependency injection framework to our Java project. Once we have a DI framework, we can use the @Inject annotation to mark fields or constructors for dependency injection. Finally, we need to configure dependencies in the DI framework.
4.1. The @Inject annotation lets us define an injection point that is injected during bean instantiation. Injection can occur via three different mechanisms. Bean constructor parameter injection: public class Checkout { private final ShoppingCart cart; @Inject.
Injectable constructors are annotated with @Inject and accept zero or more dependencies as arguments. @Inject can apply to at most one constructor per class. @Inject is optional for public, no-argument constructors when no other constructors are present. This enables injectors to invoke default constructors.
Constructor injection; the biggest constructor is chosen, then arguments are resolved with mocks declared in the test only. If the object is successfully created with the constructor, then Mockito wont try the other strategies. Mockito has decided to no corrupt an object if it has a parametered constructor.
To use it, annotate the constructor with the @Inject annotation. This constructor should accept class dependencies as parameters. Most constructors will then assign the parameters to final fields. If your class has no @Inject -annotated constructor, Guice will use a public, no-arguments constructor if it exists.
Dependency Injection (DI) can be used with static classes through method injection or property injection. Instead of constructor injection, which is used with instance-based classes, the dependencies are provided as parameters to the static methods or set through public static properties of the static class.
