hi in this video Iamp;#39;m gonna show you quickly how to put comments in a Google Doc so here Iamp;#39;ve got a Google Doc open maybe Iamp;#39;m reading this idea here I think oh I love that idea I totally agree so I want to write a comment I donamp;#39;t actually want to change the document but I want to make it so that somebody else whoamp;#39;s looking at the document can see my opinion so thereamp;#39;s a couple ways to put it in when you highlight something you can see this little icon here so I could just click on this to add a comment or if I prefer I can go to insert comment over here if youamp;#39;re on mobile you highlight it and it shows up in a menu you can add a comment so whichever way you do it you get this little box here so maybe Iamp;#39;ll type I agree with us comment and then whether itamp;#39;s your own comment or somebody elseamp;#39;s you can have a little conversation about this so if you click resolve the comment will disappear but maybe I now I have

Open your Google Doc. In the upper right side of your screen, click on Share. Next to Anyone with the link can view, click the down arrow and click More. Click the down arrow next to Access: Anyone and select Can comment. Click Save. Click Done.
After clicking on Insert note, a small text box will appear associated with the selected cell. Type your comment or the additional information you want to include in this text box. Theres no character limit, so feel free to include as much detail as needed.
Click on the comment icon present in the top right corner to go to comment history. Alternatively, you can use Cmd + Option + Shift + A (on Mac) and Ctrl + Alt + Shift + A (on Windows). You will see a side panel with all the resolved comments.
Use follow up on action items On your computer, open a Google file. Highlight the text, images, cells, or slides you want to comment on. To add a comment, go to the toolbar and click Add comment . Type your comment.
Add a note to a document On your computer, open a document or presentation in Google Docs or Google Slides. At the right, choose Keep . In the side panel, find the note you want to add. Click and drag the note to your document.
You can also add comments directly in the form response by clicking on the response in the Google Sheets and selecting Add comment from the toolbar.
