let me tell you a story about a boy named Max three minutes max they call them itamp;#39;s simply because Max does not spend more than three minutes to solve a problem okay so this is one of the problems that Max has to solve so is this document Max has several uh images basically across multiple Pages thereamp;#39;s three three pictures here thereamp;#39;s a picture thereamp;#39;s a picture there and basically what he has to do now is uh he has to take a look at some of this metadata and thereamp;#39;s a description in here so thereamp;#39;s a description in every single picture inside of the metadata that he needs to use as a caption but there are two problems here first problem is this you have to manually select all the images go up to object go to captions caption setup letamp;#39;s go for the default values here letamp;#39;s use a description metadata field so weamp;#39;re basically looking at that Iamp;#39;m going to use a style that I built here and click OK a

Select the object (table, equation, figure, or another object) that you want to add a caption to. On the References tab, in the Captions group, click Insert Caption. On the Captions dialog box, click AutoCaption, and then select the check boxes for the items that you want Word to automatically add captions to.
Add captions On the References tab, in the Captions group, click Insert Caption. In the Label list, select the label that best describes the object, such as a figure or equation. If the list doesnt provide the label you want, click New Label, type the new label in the Label box, and then click OK.

Use Insert Text Box to draw a box near the picture. (See add a text box for additional details.) Click inside the text box and type the text you want to use for a caption. Select the text.
Place cursor where you want the text box to appear. Go to Insert and in Illustrations select Drawing. Select Text Box and use your cursor to create the text box. Insert text in box and apply any styling needed.
