Set up live automatic captions Go to YouTube. From the top right, click Create Go live. Choose Stream from the left-hand menu. Within stream settings, turn on Closed captions. Choose Automatic captions as the captions source. Select your video language (English only).
Upload an Existing Captions File to Stream Navigate to the Stream start page within Microsoft 365. Locate and select the video for which you want to upload captions. Click Video Settings from the options to the right of the video. Click Transcript and captions to expand options. Click the Upload button.
Go to Settings Accessibility Captions and turn on the Live captions toggle.
To add captions to your live stream, you need to send captions to YouTube. The captions can either be embedded in the video or sent through supported software that can send captions over HTTP POSTs. Create your event as you normally would. You must be using the YouTube Live platform.

Turn Live Caption on or off On your computer, open Chrome. At the top right, select More Settings. Accessibility. Turn Live Caption on or off. If you want to get Live Captions in a language other than English: Next to Manage languages, select Add languages. This will automatically download language packs.
