This video will show you how to embed captions into your video using our caption encoder. Usually, a caption file exists separately from the video file. However, there are certain cases where itamp;#39;s necessary to embed the captions in the video itself. The most common reason is so that captions can be viewed on an iPhone or other mobile device. To submit your video for caption encoding, first upload your video file to 3Play Media for captioning and transcription. When itamp;#39;s finished processing, your file will appear on the My Files page. If you want to make edits to your transcript, you should do so before you order caption encoding. Select your file, and click Order. Then select Caption Encoding. Youamp;#39;ll have the option to optimize for certain types of devices. Note that if you choose Source with Open Captions, your captions will be burned into your video and cannot be turned off. Youamp;#39;ll get an email when your caption encoded video is ready. To insert a caption: ALT + S + P . These shortcuts work with English, they will be different in your native language. To find out the correct sequence, type ALT , then follow the key hints, which appear on the ribbon, to navigate it.
Tips for writing photo captions that will enhance your content Start by checking your facts. Use conversational language. Use the present tense. Use humor when appropriate. Add new information. Let interest determine the length. Use quotes when possible. Include descriptions.
Opening the Insert Caption dialog box, check the box to exclude label from caption. Enter the caption you want and click OK. Word will enter the caption as a text box with the picture (or figure, or table, etc.). Then, you can simply edit the text in the text box and erase the number.
Insert Caption Right-click your image. If you want the text to wrap around the image, do that now. Select Insert Caption You may define a New Label so that it uses the abbreviation. (MLA typically abbreviated Figure to Fig. and Example to Ex.) Write in your caption or citation in the Caption field. Click OK.
Select the object (table, equation, figure, or another object) that you want to add a caption to. On the References tab, in the Captions group, click Insert Caption. In the Label list, select the label that best describes the object, such as a figure or equation.
Once captions are created, they can easily be cross-referenced. To add cross-references, from the References menu select Cross-reference . This opens the dialog for inserting a cross-reference. Select the type of reference you want to use, which will limit the list of captions of that type.
