all right hey everybody and welcome back to another episode of Northwest Craftsman today I want to walk you through one of my favorite ways of fastening Furniture together when Iamp;#39;m not going to be gluing it and that is threaded inserts so the idea behind a threaded insert is that rather than having a permanent form of joinery that sits on this and doesnamp;#39;t allow you to ever remove the piece of furniture you get basically an insert that will accept some size of bolt that allows you to fasten two together and in this case weamp;#39;ve got the piece that weamp;#39;re trying to fasten into and then weamp;#39;ve got the piece thatamp;#39;s going to be fastened and this basically gets a countersunk hole in here to fit the bolt thatamp;#39;ll go inside of this threaded insert now these are super super handy when youamp;#39;ve got larger pieces of furniture that youamp;#39;re going to want to be able to disassemble later either to fit it through a door or into a house or
