in the last video I showed how to use the server log connector to publish alerts to a log file then I used logstash to ingest the alerts in the log file and relay them to your email but that method might not offer enough flexibility for some people so in this video I will show how to use the index connector to publish alerts to an index in elasticsearch then I will provide an app that will ingest the alerts in the index and relay them to your email inbox the app is written in golang and you will have access to my source code in case you want to use it as a starting point to make connectors to other third-party services so Im going to click to the menu click to the alerts and lets click on manage rules lets work with the error count uh I will edit this rule so we already have some connectors from the server log demonstration lets add another connector the index lets create a connector give it any name we want lets just say the connector three all right give it something more mean
