hyannis we dont show you how to use the formula text function now what the formula text function does is a returns back of formula in a string so basically you can notice here if I look in the formula bar these are functions these are formulas and its going to output the result of that formula but what if I wanted to show this and also show next to it the example formula that resulted in this display well in Excel 2013 we have this function called formula text and all you need to do is type equal formula and Ill go ahead and just select double click to select that and select a cell and press Enter and youll now notice that it has reference the function or the formula that resulted in this output I can go ahead and just drag click the fill handle here and drag it down and theyll show you all the show me the formulas that resulted in these particular outputs now this could be good in a way where you have some functions in your Excel and you also want to show next to the formers th
