I very much love reading and responding to your questions and comments that you leave to my videos but particularly those that begin with youre wrong because it usually suggests an opportunity for Learning and growth and genuine and positive interaction and hopefully a little bit of education and correction along the way one such comment was in respect of the TV licensing the comment broadly said that youre wrong you dont need to have a TV license to own any equipment which is not strictly true but I understand the misunderstanding of the premise of the comment left the misunderstanding is that you need a TV license just to own any equipment but thats not quite what I said what I said in the video the previous video which Ill link below is that you do need a TV license to watch or record live TV or to use BBC iPlayer or and this is the killer point to install or own and use any television receiver equipment for that purpose and this is where the misunderstanding comes in so welco

Make sure to name the specific CC license the material is under and link to it, eg. Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 License with a link to . Dont just say the material is Creative Commons, because that says nothing about how the material can actually be used.
Each CC license is made up of one or more of four license elements: Attribution (BY), Share Alike (SA), NonComercial (NC) and No Derivatives (ND).
For example, an images license might state that you cant modify it or use it for commercial purposes. Commercial or other licenses: These images have non-Creative Commons licenses and can be from either sites available at no charge or commercial sites that require payment.
There are six different Creative Commons licenses: CC BY, CC BY-SA, CC BY-NC, CC BY-ND, CC BY-NC-SA, CC BY-NC-ND. The letter pairs indicate conditions for use. CC BY is the most open license.
Whereas a CC BY is the most liberal license, the CC BY-NC-ND is the most restrictive: this license only allows re-users to copy and distribute the material in any medium or format in unadapted form and for noncommercial purposes.
Adding a Creative Commons License to YouTube Videos To attach a Creative Commons license (YouTube only supports basic Attribution CC BY) to your YouTube video, go into the Edit view, and then select the Creative Commons option from the License and rights ownership menu.
Add a Creative Commons license to a Wordpress blog 2.1 Go to creativecommons.org. 2.2 Click License your work 2.3 Check your license preferences. 2.4 Add name for attribution then click Select license 2.5 Choose appropriate graphic. 2.6 Copy the code. 2.7 Edit your Wordpress About page.
In general, the difference between CC0 and CC-BY is that the latter requires attribution and is not recommended for use with software while CC0 requires practically nothing and is OK for use with software.
These are the most prominently used licenses of their type in the world.Creative Commons BY - attribution required. NC - no commercial use. ND - no derivative works. SA - Share Alike - the license must be the same on any derivative works.
CC BY: This license allows reusers to distribute, remix, adapt, and build upon the material in any medium or format, so long as attribution is given to the creator. The license allows for commercial use.
