hey everybody hows it going Ive got the ever amazing Scott Elliott from Chernobyl Studios and today hows it going good its going quite well uh last time I saw Scott in person probably was at guitar Summit in Manheim Germany we hung out we had a great time hanging out with all the different uh guitar manufacturers and our buddies you know Chris and cola and Los Alamo and all those dudes and rough guitar guys and whatever anyway so I got on the subject of this with Scott the other day and I thought this would be kind of a good subject because this is something that comes out consistently not only on the show but on my merciless mix reviews on Monday mornings and whatnot and that is how do we dial in a guitar sound for a mix versus just making it sound good by itself because I hear that all the time you know on your mixes is like it sounds like wow you dialed on the guitar sound and you tried to build the rest of the mix around it and its not really working too well as part of the c
